I’m amélie lamont, a user-centered design expert with over 20 years of experience in product design. I run User Space Craft, a UX consultancy helping startups develop nuanced UX strategies that drive conversion. Before creating User Space Craft, I led and collaborated on design initiatives at companies like The New York Times, Google, Facebook, Apple, eBay, Adobe, Travelers Insurance, Booz Allen Hamilton, VenueBook, and Lola. When I’m not piloting startups away from UX black holes, you can find me singing karaoke, roller skating, or writing.
I’m also the co-founder of Good for PoC, co-creator of People of Craft, and creator of The Guide to Allyship— resources aimed at helping marginalized communities. I’ve had the honor of presenting her research and work at places such as The White House, The Great Discontent, Etsy, Twitter, Dropbox and Cooper.
