I was always a closeted designer. I came out when I had already been married to my career in sales and marketing. Although now I'm in a happy and stable relationship with graphic design, it has been a complex journey.
I get that as a designer, you want to jump into the first paying gig. Before you know it, you have gone down a design career path you didn't want and sold part of your soul while doing so.
